Today, 28th January 2025, BSc(CSE) I & II year students had an Industrial Visit to NRSC-ISRO, Hyderabad.

Activities During the Visit
1. Technical Presentations: ISRO experts deliver presentations on various topics, such as satellite development, launch vehicles, and space exploration.
2. Photo and Models Exhibition: Students are taken into exhibition on All the Setilites launched by ISRO.
3. Live Forecasting: Explained about live data Capture of Satelite.
4. Question-and-Answer Sessions: Students have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts with ISRO experts.

Weaving/Handloom Unit

Class: BBA 2 Year Students

1. Introduction:
Our industrial visit was organized to provide insight into the traditional and modern methods of weaving in the textile industry. The visit took place at Pocahmpally & Koyyalagudem, Yadadri Dist., on 07-08-2024. This visit was part of our curriculum to understand the practical aspects of textile production and the role of handlooms in India’s cultural and economic framework.

2. Objective of the Visit:

  • To observe and understand the weaving process from raw material to finished product.

  • To learn about different types of looms (handloom, power loom, jacquard, etc.).

  • To explore the working conditions and challenges faced by artisans.

  • To study the design, dyeing, and weaving techniques.

3. Description of the Unit:
The weaving unit consisted of several sections including:

  • Yarn Preparation Unit – where yarns are dyed and set for weaving.

  • Loom Area – traditional and modern looms used for weaving.

  • Design Section – where patterns and motifs are developed.

  • Finishing Section – where products are checked, pressed, and packaged.

4. Key Observations:

  • Skilled artisans manage intricate designs manually on handlooms.

  • Power looms increase efficiency but reduce human labor.

  • Use of eco-friendly dyes and traditional motifs in some units.

  • The importance of preserving handloom traditions and promoting them globally.

5. Learning Outcomes:

  • Enhanced understanding of weaving techniques.

  • Real-world application of textile theory.

  • Appreciation for the craftsmanship and challenges in the handloom industry.

Padmavathi Rubber Enterprises

As part of the Vanijya initiative, the students of Siva Sivani Degree College visited Padmavathi Rubber Enterprises on 10th February 2025. The objective of the visit was to gain practical insights into the rubber manufacturing and processing industry. The visit was organized to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices.
Padmavathi Rubber Enterprises is a well-known firm engaged in the manufacturing and processing of high-quality rubber products. The company specializes in rubber sheets, industrial rubber components, and eco-friendly rubber solutions, catering to various industries such as automotive, construction, and healthcare.
The visit began with a welcome speech by the company representatives, who provided an overview of the enterprise, its history, and its contributions to the rubber industry. Students were given a guided tour of the manufacturing unit, where they observed different stages of rubber processing, including mixing, molding, vulcanization, and quality testing. The use of eco-friendly and sustainable raw materials was emphasized.
The quality assurance team explained various testing methods used to ensure durability and efficiency of rubber products.

Industrial Visit to Coca Cola, Bachupally

Our enthusiastic students embarked on an exciting industrial visit to the renowned Coca Cola manufacturing plant in Bachupally. This educational excursion aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations, production processes, and management practices.

 Objective

The primary objective of this visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, allowing students to gain valuable insights into the functioning of a global beverage leader.

 Plant Overview

Upon arrival, our students were warmly welcomed by the Coca Cola team. The plant tour commenced with a brief presentation on the company’s history, vision, and values. Students then proceeded to explore the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, witnessing firsthand the production processes, quality control measures, and packaging systems.

 Key Observations

During the tour, students observed:

  1. Automated manufacturing lines and bottling processes
  2. Quality control laboratories and testing facilities
  3. Raw material storage and handling procedures
  4. Supply chain management and logistics operations
  5. Employee safety and welfare measures

Industrial Visit to Zinda Tilismath and Parle-G

The students of BBA I CH , BBA I K had the opportunity to participate in an insightful industrial visit to two iconic manufacturing units: Zinda Tilismath and Parle-G. This visit was organized to enhance the students’ understanding of the practical aspects of manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors.

At Zinda Tilismath, students were taken on a guided tour of the facility, where they observed the production of herbal remedies. They learned about the meticulous blending of traditional knowledge with modern technology, the importance of quality control, and the standards required in the industry. This visit provided students with a unique perspective on how traditional practices can be preserved and adapted to meet contemporary demands.

Following this, the students visited the Parle-G manufacturing unit, where they were introduced to the biscuit-making process. They witnessed the precision and efficiency involved in mass production, from the initial mixing of ingredients to the final packaging of the biscuits. The students were particularly impressed by the company’s commitment to quality and innovation, which has kept Parle-G as a market leader for decades.
