Introduction:

Siva Sivani Degree College hosted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) focusing on Importance of Research In Teaching . Research in teaching bridges the gap between theory and practice, promoting a more analytical and adaptive teaching process. Whether through action research in the classroom or participation in broader academic studies, teachers who engage in research contribute to both their professional development and the advancement of educational knowledge as a whole.

Objectives:

• To understand the role of research in enhancing teaching effectiveness.

• To explore how evidence-based practices improve student learning outcomes.

• To highlight the benefits of teacher-led classroom research and reflective practice.

• To identify ways in which research fosters innovation in curriculum and pedagogy.
