Introduction:

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Emerging Professional Courses: Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Financial Modeling and Analysis Associate (FMAA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) was held on   Emerging professional courses in collaboration with HOCK INTERNATIONAL organized by Department of commerce, Osmania University.

This program aimed to equip educators with the latest insights, tools, and techniques to guide students pursuing these professional certifications, which are increasingly becoming essential in today’s competitive job market.

The program attracted participants from various educational institutions, particularly faculty members involved in accounting, finance, and audit-related subjects, seeking to enhance their understanding of these emerging professional courses.

Objectives:

• To provide an overview of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Financial Modeling and Analysis Associate (FMAA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) courses offered by HOCK International.
• To understand the growing demand for these professional certifications in both national and global markets.
• To explore the curriculum structure, exam preparation strategies, and career pathways associated with these courses.
• To enhance the role of educators in advising students on the relevance and benefits of these certifications.

•           To equip faculty with resources to incorporate elements of CMA, FMAA, and CIA into academic programs.

Program Details:

The FDP was structured around a presentation by Mr. Brain Hock, President of Hock International fallowed by group discussions led by industry experts and academic professionals. The sessions covered the following key areas:
