EDC Program -Business Blueprint

Objective:

The Main objective is to Introduce students to the concept of business blueprints and their role in strategic planning. Teach students how to map business processes, workflows, and interdependencies. Explain the essential elements of a business blueprint, such as finance, operations, marketing, and technology. Encourage teamwork and communication in designing and presenting business plans.

DESCRIPTION:

The session will commence with an in-depth explanation of the concept of a business blueprint, highlighting its importance in strategic planning and business development. Key parameters involved in designing a business blueprint, such as business model, target market, operational workflow, financial planning, marketing strategy, risk assessment, and technological integration, will be discussed in detail. Students will then be guided on how to structure and prepare a business blueprint report, covering aspects like business objectives, market analysis, financial projections, and implementation strategies.

After this, students will be provided with study material and given time to brainstorm and develop their own innovative business ideas. They will work in teams to formulate a project based on their business concept, ensuring feasibility and scalability. Each team will present their business idea in front of the class, receiving feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Following the presentations, students will refine their ideas based on the feedback received and prepare a comprehensive business blueprint report. This final report will include a detailed description of their business model, operational plan, financial structure, marketing strategies, risk mitigation approaches, and future growth prospects. The session will conclude with discussions on key takeaways, challenges faced, and lessons learned during the exercise.
